My Ugg Boots And Me
Last year I did it. I finally ordered myself a brand new pair of Ugg Boots. Now I’m not the real girly type who wears lipstick and short dresses all the time, usually you’ll find me in a pair of blue jeans. However, visiting my friend in college over the Easter weekend opened up my eyes to a cool new line of boots.
I love how light these ugg boots are. It’s like wearing a pair of really comfortable sandals. The outer skin is actually sheepskin and it’s a kind of suede feeling, yet it has better thermal properties than suede does, so it keeps your feet warmer than traditional leather. The rubber bottoms are crafted from this really lightweight rubber and seem to conform perfectly to my feet.
Since my girlfriend and I wear the same size shoe, I wore these boots out one night right over my blue jeans. A beautiful floral print top and I was feeling good. At the end of the night, I couldn’t believe how comfortable these boots were. The next morning I grabbed them, put them back on and told her I would give her money for these, and she could go buy another pair.
Imagine the scene, me and Linda having a tug of war with one of the boots, after she successfully wrestled the boot away from me, she swatted me with it across the arm. After we made ourselves cry laughing over how stupid this was, I got on her laptop and ordered the same exact pair as hers. This should permanently put an end to our bickering. It’s great too that we can wear the same boots out together, and since they go with anything, no one will notice because the rest of our clothes will be so different.
Time has passed since I went and visited my dear friend Linda, we still laugh over the Ugg Boot tug of war. Both of us are still wearing our boots too. I guess it was Linda who turned me on to Ugg Boots and now I’m afraid that there is no turning me off. Oh well, as long as they keep making them I’ll keep buying them. You have to love the Internet, I don’t have anywhere locally to buy them, but can get them anywhere online, yeah, ugg boots cheap. I hear my laptop calling, and my credit card too.
